Uncanny Vision and MeterFeeder Demo End-To-End Parking Garage Automation Solution at IPMI.

Uncanny Vision and MeterFeeder Demo End-To-End Parking Garage Automation Solution at IPMI.

Anaheim, CA -  MeterFeeder is partnering with award winning technology company Uncanny Vision to create a frictionless parking garage automation solution. The two companies will be demoing the new system tentatively called “MeterFeeder Autopay” next week at the International Parking & Mobility Institute Conference and Expo (IPMI).

MeterFeeder Autopay is a form of frictionless parking enforcement which utilizes License Plate Recognition cameras and MeterFeeder cloud services to create a seamless parking experience for all parties involved in the transaction.

It works as a “Pay-as-you-go” permit where patrons sign up for an account and are charged for what they use automatically. When a parking transaction occurs funds are deducted from the account. It does this thanks to the high tech cameras provided by Uncanny Vision. Autopay can be used at any parking facility that has partnered with MeterFeeder for frictionless parking.

Prush Palanichamy, Business Development Manager for Uncanny Vision, had this to say about the new service: “At Uncanny Vision we have the Industry’s highest accuracy LPR system. As all the processing in done on the edge we have super low latency as well. Together with MeterFeeder we are able to offer a comprehensive solution that benefits all parties. The system includes state of the art AI-based License Plate Recognition (LPR), an app for customers to enable parking assistance and payment, Integration to PARCS equipment, and enforcement tools for parking enforcement officers. The total capital cost for the project is less than $5000 dollars and can be deployed within a day.”

To see the first demo of MeterFeeder Autopay, visit Uncanny Vision at Booth 252 at IPMI from June 9th -12th!
