MeterFeeder attends 3 Rivers Venture Fair in Pittsburgh, PA

Pittsburgh, PA - Last week the Three Rivers Venture Fair took place in the Omni William Penn Hotel in Pittsburgh, PA. According to the fair’s website “the 3 Rivers Venture Fair is the premier venture conference in the Ohio Valley region. Every 18 months, thousands of investors, entrepreneurs & top-tier service providers from around the world gather in Pittsburgh for this two-day meeting of ideas & money.”

Jim Gibbs, CEO and Co-Founder of Pittsburgh based parking startup MeterFeeder, attended the event. He got a chance to not only meet with plenty of investors, but also support Pittsburgh’s growing startup community.

“The Pittsburgh startup community is very important to me. I want to see it grow and get the attention from Silicon Valley and New York investors that it deserves. I especially want to normalize the idea of people of color in tech and entrepreneurship as well. We have to watch out for each other and 3 Rivers Venture Fair is a great place to collaborate and listen to each other,” Mr. Gibbs concluded.

The event lasted two days and featured plenty of networking sessions as well as panel discussions and keynote speeches from successful entrepreneurs, investors, and even an appearance by Justine Ezarik of iJustine.
