City of McKeesport Renews Contract with MeterFeeder,

Plans Expansion in the Coming Months.

Pittsburgh, PA - This September, Meter Feeder Inc. welcomed back one of it’s longest and most loyal clients. The City of McKeesport renewed their contract with MeterFeeder after the decision was approved by both the city council and the mayor.

Meter Feeder brought some welcomed changes to the parking infrastructure of McKeesport. Previously, citizens visiting the local shops and restaurants were forced to put change into mechanical coin-operated meters. This changed in early 2017 when McKeesport brought in Meter Feeder Inc. to provide a digital payment and enforcement solution.

“Whenever I’m explaining the new way to pay to our citizens, I’m always asked, ‘Is that really all I have to do?” stated Tom Maglicco, City Administrator in McKeesport. “I know I’m echoing the mayor’s thoughts on MeterFeeder too. Overall it’s been a great success for both the municipality and its citizens. People love how easy it is to pay tickets and add time.”

McKeesport is looking to expand their parking operations in the future - with MeterFeeder’s help. MeterFeeder offers a variety of products and services including valet management, permit management, and now Pay-By-Vehicle software for automatic parking payments.
